From a Physical Part to CAD & Manufacturing Drawings
We recreate old, worn or unavailable components as organized and editable 3D CAD models and, where required, manufacturing drawings. The process can begin with a physical part, sample, available measurements or a combination of technical information.
Depending on the geometry, condition of the part and required accuracy, dimensional capture may be carried out using conventional measurements, 3D scanning or a combination of methods. The final geometry is developed according to the intended use and the agreed project requirements.

When Reverse Engineering Can Help
When the physical component is available but the appropriate digital data required for repair, modification or new production is missing.
Old or Unavailable Spare Part
We recreate components that have been discontinued, are no longer available from the original manufacturer or have long procurement lead times.
Component Without CAD Drawings
We create a digital model and technical documentation when only the physical component or limited technical information is available.
Worn or Damaged Sample
We study the available sample and reconstruct its geometry while taking wear, mating features and intended function into account.
Component Modification or Adaptation
We convert the existing physical part into editable CAD so that dimensions, geometry or fit can be modified for a new requirement.
What You Can Send Us
- Physical component or available sample
- Worn or partially damaged object
- Photographs or video of the component
- Existing measurements, dimensions or tolerances
- Old printed drawing, PDF or partial CAD file
- Information about its function, material and intended use
What You Can Receive
- Organized and editable 3D CAD model
- 2D manufacturing drawing where required
- Reconstructed or modified geometry
- PDF version for technical review and communication
- STEP, IGES, STL, DWG or DXF files depending on the project
- Organized file set for the next stage of manufacturing
How We Work Together
Initial Evaluation
We review photographs, available information and the intended application of the component.
Geometry Capture
We capture the required dimensions and geometry using measurements, 3D scanning or a combination of appropriate methods.
CAD Reconstruction
We create the editable CAD model while evaluating critical mating features, wear and the agreed technical requirements.
File Delivery
We deliver the CAD model and supporting drawings in the agreed formats for the next stage of the project.
From CAD to Production
Depending on your project requirements, we can support file preparation for manufacturing, prototype production or the production of multiple identical parts. The appropriate process is selected according to the intended use, material, required accuracy and quantity.
